Comtrend Chosen as Supplier for XGS-PON 10G ONT Terminals
Prague, Czech Republic – Comtrend, a leading provider of advanced networking solutions, has been selected by CETIN, a.s. (www.cetin.cz) as the supplier for XGSPON 10G Optical Network Terminals (ONT) in a multiyear supply agreement. The collaboration, set to span from late 2024 through 2026, marks a strategic partnership aimed at advancing broadband technology and infrastructure capabilities. Comtrend's XGSPON ONT terminals, rigorously tested for compatibility and reliability, will seamlessly integrate with CETIN's XGSPON OLT infrastructure.
The newly introduced Comtrend GRG-4362 is designed to facilitate a smooth transition from GPON to XGSPON technology, offering users symmetrical speeds of up to 10Gbps. This advancement in broadband technology represents a crucial milestone in meeting the growing demand for high-speed internet services. With the deployment of Comtrend's ONT terminals, CETIN will enhance its network capabilities, providing customers with robust connectivity solutions that support future connectivity needs.
