Comtrend Expands to a New Headquarters in Irvine
Comtrend announced that it has relocated its North American headquarters to 14 Chrysler, Irvine, California.
In the thirteen years since Comtrend opened its first Southern California office, it has experienced tremendous growth and has made continued advancements in delivering the latest networking, broadband distribution and gateway technologies to the telecom and networking industry at large. Comtrend’s success can be measured by an increasing need for more office and warehouse space. Their new 25,000 square foot headquarters roughly doubles their warehouse size, and they will now be able to accommodate the addition of new staff members.
Comtrend North America has relocated four times since opening its doors in 2001. Each move was an opportunity to assess the strengths and benefits of a new location. Each time, the city of Irvine prevailed as the best choice. General Manager of Comtrend North America, John Castreje, said, “Irvine has a great business climate and remains an incredibly supportive city for us. Our decision to remain in the city of Irvine is a renewed commitment to the community that fostered our growth and our expected continued success.”
Vice President of Sales and Marketing, John DiFrenna, commented on the recent move saying, “This move was a result of the continued pressure on our square footage due to our increasing sales volumes and the required inventory levels, as well as a need for department level growth. Orange County has an excellent talent pool that has positively assisted us in meeting our growth objectives. We’ve recently increased our headcount in our sales, marketing and product departments. The abundance of really talented, experienced and educated people in Orange County continues to make the logistics of our expansion relatively painless.”
Comtrend is excited to continue their growth in Irvine, and make use of their new space. They welcome anyone interested to tour the headquarters.
